CS2 Upgrader
Risk a lower-value item for a chance at a better one. The exact success chance is shown before you roll, and the What Are the Odds? page explains the house edge behind it. How it works
How CS2 skin upgrades work
The CS2 upgrader on CaseRush.gg lets you stake one or more inventory items for a chance at a higher-value target. Your selected items are consumed by the attempt. Success adds the target item to your on-site inventory; failure adds no target item. This is a game of chance, not a guaranteed trade of your skins for a better skin.
How the upgrade chance is calculated
The success probability is 90% multiplied by the combined source value, divided by the target value. The target must be worth at least 5% more than the sources together. Values come from the site's item catalogue; they are not a guaranteed Steam Market sale price or cash resale quote.
For example, sources valued at 5 coins and a target valued at 10 coins give a 45% success chance: 0.9 × 5 ÷ 10. The other 55% of outcomes lose the staked items. A target worth four times the source value has a 22.5% chance. Check the exact chance shown for your selection before confirming.
What the 10% house edge means
The probability includes a 10% house edge. In the 5-to-10 example, the expected item value is 4.5 against a stake of 5. That average does not predict your next attempt, and previous losses do not make a later upgrade more likely. Increasing the target multiplier reduces the chance of success.
Verify the roll and understand the reward
Upgrade results use the provably fair seed system. Once the relevant server seed is revealed, use the verifier with your attempt details to check the roll. Verifiable randomness does not remove the house edge. Upgrading a reward that cannot be withdrawn does not turn it into a withdrawable item.
Coin-mode rewards go to your on-site inventory. A win does not send a skin to Steam automatically; withdrawal eligibility and playthrough requirements still apply. Read the withdrawal rules. Play only with what you can afford to lose; CaseRush.gg is for adults aged 18 and over.
