What Are the Odds?
We believe in full transparency. This page explains exactly how our platform economics work - house edge, creator shares, and everything in between.
Our philosophy
Most gaming platforms keep their economics hidden. We think that is wrong. You deserve to know exactly how the numbers work before you play.
Every case, every game mode, and every fee is documented here. There is no hidden fine print or concealed mechanic. If you have questions, contact us at any time.
What is house edge?
Expected value (EV) is the average amount you would receive if you opened a case thousands of times. It is calculated by multiplying each item's value by its drop probability.
House edge is the difference between what you pay (the case price) and the expected value. This is how the platform sustains itself.
RTP (return to player) is the share of the price returned as expected value. An RTP of 90% means that for every $1.00 spent, the average return is $0.90.
Example
- Case price:
- $10.00
- Expected value:
- $9.00
- House edge:
- 10% ($1.00)
- RTP:
- 90%
Why house edge exists
House edge funds everything that keeps the platform running:
For a complete breakdown of every platform fee, see our Fees and house edge page.
House edge by game mode
Each game mode has its own economics. Here is how each one works:
Convoy
6.25% house edgeAll 64 gate sequences are equally likely. Every plan returns 93.75% on average over all possible outcomes: a 6.25% house edge at every allowed entry amount. This is a long-run average, not a promise for one session.
Returns include your entry. Less than 1× means you get back less than you put in.
Cases
2%-30%The case price is set above the expected value of the items inside. The difference is the house edge, split between platform markup and creator royalties when applicable.
Official cases typically have a 10% markup. Community cases are fixed at 10% (90% RTP).
Case Battles
Same as casesEach player opens the same cases. The house edge comes from the case economics; no additional battle fee is charged.
How it works →Coinflip
10% item-fee targetEach side has a 50/50 chance of winning. Settlement targets a fee worth 10% of the item pot. The exact deduction varies with item sizes, contribution caps and supported balance-deduction rules. The winner receives the remaining items; the displayed pot is before fees.
How it works →Jackpot
10% item-fee targetSettlement targets a fee worth 10% of the item pot. The exact deduction varies with item sizes, contribution caps and supported balance-deduction rules. The winner receives the remaining items; the displayed pot is before fees.
How it works →Roulette
~6.67%The wheel has 15 equally likely positions: 7 red, 7 black and 1 green. Red and black return 2× the stake; green returns 14×. Every color has an expected return of 14/15, about 93.33%, before integer rounding.
How it works →Crash
Through the curveThe crash multiplier curve is designed so the average expected return stays below 100%. Players can cash out at any time before the crash.
How it works →Upgrader
10%Success probability is 0.9 × source value ÷ target value. This includes a 10% house edge; the confirmed server roll determines the result.
How it works →Creator cases
Community creators can build and publish their own cases. When players open a creator's case, the creator earns a small royalty (0%-3%) included in the case price.
Creator royalties are included in the total house edge; they do not add an extra cost. The economics break down like this:
- Case price:
- 100%
- Return to player:
- 90%
- Platform markup:
- 8%
- Creator royalty:
- 2%
Example: a creator case with 2% royalty and 8% platform markup has 90% RTP in total.
Creator royalty can be set from 0% to 3%. Official cases have no creator royalty; the full markup goes to the platform.

Transparency notes
Pricing updates
Item values come from market data and can fluctuate. When item prices change, case expected value and pricing are recalculated automatically to maintain the configured house edge.
Market volatility
Skin prices can be volatile. The displayed expected value reflects market prices at the time of calculation. Actual item values at the time of sale may differ.
Creator royalty versus house edge
Creator royalties are part of the total house edge, not an added charge. A case with 2% creator royalty and 8% platform markup has a total house edge of 10% (90% RTP).
Provably fair
All game outcomes are determined by our provably fair system. You can verify any round after it finishes.
